Orange Veined encrusting Sponge

Rhaphidophlus venosus

Uncommon in shallow water, but can be found if you search dark recesses. A small (up to a foot) encrusting orange sponge that is similar in appearance to the Star Encrusting Sponge, but looks more porous, has more, and finer and longer veins that radiate from the excurrent openings.
